Figuring It Out As I Go

Hey reader, hope you're doing well. This is my first blog post ever, so bear with me while I figure out my footing. I've been meaning to start writing for a while now, and I kept putting it off because I wasn't sure what to write about or how to even begin. Turns out you don't really figure that out by thinking about it. You figure it out by starting. So here I am, starting. What I do know is why I'm here. Over the past while I've picked up a fair bit of knowledge, some of it the hard way, and I've realised how much of it isn't obvious until someone actually spells it out for you. That's what I want to do here. Share what I've learned, spread some awareness about things I think are worth knowing, and hopefully save someone else a bit of the trouble I went through. I'm not going to pretend I have everything figured out. I'll probably get things wrong sometimes, and I'd genuinely rather be corrected than sound confident about something ...
