Figuring It Out As I Go

Hey reader, hope you're doing well.

This is my first blog post ever, so bear with me while I figure out my footing. I've been meaning to start writing for a while now, and I kept putting it off because I wasn't sure what to write about or how to even begin. Turns out you don't really figure that out by thinking about it. You figure it out by starting.

So here I am, starting.

What I do know is why I'm here. Over the past while I've picked up a fair bit of knowledge, some of it the hard way, and I've realised how much of it isn't obvious until someone actually spells it out for you. That's what I want to do here. Share what I've learned, spread some awareness about things I think are worth knowing, and hopefully save someone else a bit of the trouble I went through.

I'm not going to pretend I have everything figured out. I'll probably get things wrong sometimes, and I'd genuinely rather be corrected than sound confident about something I've misunderstood. So if you spot something off, or you've got a different take, drop a comment. I'd like this to be a conversation rather than me just talking into the void.
